Yoga Basics

Never done yoga and interested in trying?

Or, you have some yoga experience and maybe it’s been a while and you want to explore the fundamentals again?


This 4 week course is for you if the above applies to you and you’d like to continue making progress in a smaller workshop setting.

In this 4 week Yoga course you’ll learn

  • the foundations of yoga, including standing and sitting postures
  • breathing techniques
  • meditation and mindfulness

Each week we will explore a new dimension of the practice. Expect to:

  • build strength, greater flexibility and greater balance capability
  • continue learning about alignment details and muscles used in specific poses
  • feel confident attending a Beginner or Level 1 class on the regular drop-in schedule with other yoga practitioners
