Learn to effectively and safely teach Restorative Poses.

The Restorative Training in Toronto is a multi-faceted and rich exploration to inform the personal study as well as teaching skills of each student. Students will learn the joys of Restorative through first-hand experience of the postures, and will also learn hands on experience in how to teach students of all levels.

Understanding the scientific reality of the human nervous system and how it affects the body will help students to compose classes which are effective for deep and long lasting healing rather than simply relaxing experiences for students.

The art of reading bodies, and communication with students is essential to a well propped restorative pose. Students will gain hands on practice in understanding how each pose relates to different bodies, as well as classical alignment that enables the student to rest more deeply.

A comprehensive repertoire of postures will be passed on to students with the detail necessary to bring depth and life changing benefits to students.

Teaching methodology as a result of personal practice and right relationship with ourselves and others will be explored throughout the training. As follows deepening our compassion as well as our ability to communicate will be a theme throughout the course.

Who Can Attend

In addition to yoga instructors, those who have attended the restorative training in the past are  massage therapists, teachers or students seeking insight into their own health conditions, police officers, patrol agents, acupuncturists, social workers, chaplains, nurses, pharmacists, nurse practitioners,
