Shannon began her yoga practice in 2007 as a stressed out university student. In 2016 she graduated the 200 Hour Yoga Space Vinyasa/Hatha teacher training program with Kathryn Beet. Since then she has received certifications in Mat Pilates (East to West), Yin (Bernie Clark, Paul Grilley), Trauma Informed Yoga (David Emerson-Yoga Space), Yoga for All (Dianne Bondy), and Pranayama Level 1 (Eddie Stern/Robert Moses). Shannon’s vinyasa classes are music driven and incorporate strengthening movement and long stretches. Her Yin classes hold to the traditional principles of Yin Yoga as taught by Bernie Clark: Depth, Time & Stillness.
