Amongst her clients at Breathe, including owners and teachers, Tanya is affectionately known as our miracle healer.

As an osteopathic manual practitioner, she uses her hands-on expertise to help patients feel better.  Tanya combines a thorough understanding of human anatomy, biomechanics, physiology and health sciences with strong intuitive skills and an inquisitive nature.  This allows her to recognize how a patient’s unique physical, mental and emotional experiences are affecting their body and their health.  The most effective osteopathic treatment begins with the acknowledgment that each person’s condition is unique.  As an osteopathic manual practitioner, her goal is to restore balance in the body. Tanya practices yoga and is a part of Breathe’s Teacher Training Faculty teaching Basic and Advanced Anatomy.

Tara’s passion for learning keeps her on the cutting edge of treatment advancements.  She believes in combining manual therapy, yoga and other exercise, and retraining your functional movement patterns.

Tara obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. She took her passion for science and fitness education and obtained her teaching degree from the University of Toronto.  Tara continued her education and earned a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. She has also taken post graduate courses in Manual Therapy, Dryneedling, and is a Functional Movement expert. Tara has taught workshops at the Toronto Yoga Conference and has a passion for combining Physiotherapy with Yoga to keep you happily and safely on your mat. Tara’s passion for learning keeps her on the cutting edge of treatment advancements. You will gain an excellent understanding of your injury and security in your recovery. Adriana’s whole body massage is a blissful de-stressor for both body and mind.

A deeply healing therapeutic massage that is beneficial for the nervous and immune systems, Ayurvedic massage is a whole body massage -the back, arms, hands, neck, head, legs feet, hips are worked on. The oils are heated and are infused with Ayurvedic herbs for individual body-mind constitution composed of a Dosha, a combination of the five different elements.  Ayurvedic oils in massage help with maintaining harmony and balance.  Ayurveda oils penetrate the skin easily and transport the healing properties of nature, directly to the cells in the body. Oils used can vary depending on the season and the individual constitution.  All of our oils are organic and have a base of Sesame or Coconut Oil.
